CrossFit is a training methodology that is constantly varied functional movements performed at a high intensity. The program encompasses all aspects of sport and fitness, moulded together strategically to accomplish any goal from improved overall health to forging elite fitness.
We have extras for those who want to improve a specific training component.
We offer the following:
Gymnastics
for those wanting to attain or refine a broad range of gymnastic skills. These extras are not for one specific skill but for overall gymnastics.
Endurance
For those wanting to work specifically on their cardiovascular fitness and endurance or want to add some extras to assist with losing body
fat.
Bodybuilding
These are looked at as "accessories" for CrossFit. The dosage and exercises are selected specifically to supplement your CrossFit
program. They are a great way to avoid injuries by building strength with isolation exercises OR are great if you want to add extra muscle building in your training. Everyone loves a "PUMP".
Individualised extras
for those who have a specific goal they are trying to achieve whilst still wanting to participate in classes (e.g.mobility, specific skills like handstand push-ups etc.)
Our strength and hypertrophy program/class uses strength training methods to increase strength and muscle size. The program is methodically designed to guarantee results with getting strong while building muscle. This program is commonly known as "bodybuilding". It is for those who want to be professional bodybuilders or toned and lean for their bikini/ board shorts in summer. This program does not incorporate cardiovascular training.
At 129, we cater to every individual, from a beginner to a seasoned athlete. All of our classes have multiple scaling options to suit all fitness levels. Our experienced coaches know how to make suitable changes for those who have injuries or are uncomfortable completing specific movements, etc.
We have a supervised creche at 129. Our creche is available Monday – Friday, 9:00-10:45 am.
This is located upstairs at our facility to ensure parents can focus on their training.
We sell organic groceries/foods, coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, ice cream, and more.
This is for those who want to take their training and results to another level. After a consult with one of our head coaches, you will receive an individualised eating plan and training program. This is combined with one-on-one PT sessions to ensure maximum results; our coaches are the best in the business with years of experience and have the results to show. Our coaches have produced the results from body transformations to those competing on stage or helping those competing in a range of competitive sports. This experience is only for those ready for 100% commitment to getting results.
Show up and do the work. Trust the process and work hard on a consistent basis. We believe in what we offer and have the results to show for it. We have taken the guesswork out, and our commitment and passion as coaches combined with a periodised program are what separates us from other gyms. As you progress, w have many options and paths available to make sure you continue to improve regardless of your fitness level.
We do offer individualised meal plans at 129. These plans are based on your current BMR, lifestyle and goals. We are consistently communicating with our members about the importance of nutrition and supplying them with general
guidelines and information on healthy eating. We believe that knowledge is power, so discussions and teaching are engrained into our culture. We don't believe in "one special diet"; instead, we believe that treating each person as an individual based on their current or previous eating habits and lifestyle will produce the best results. We can teach those looking for a more general approach through education.

We have many success stories here at 129. Almost every member will have a story about how we have positively impacted their life. From those who have witnessed medical issues being cured from exercise and healthy eating to the competitive athlete who never dreamed they would compete at the highest level. We have recorded and documented before and after progress stories that range from 12-week body transformation challenges to dedicated people who have seen tremendous progress over the years.
With our wide diversity of options, we require members to follow the programs available within 129. Culture is our most important ingredient to success; through the comradery and sharing of efforts and suffering, you can find your best self. Keeping the community and culture, we have trained and programmed for all types of goals and sports, including Crossfit, on-stage fitness competitions, endurance, ironman, rugby league, combat sports and more.
Yes we do! Childminding is available Monday-Friday for 9:30am classes. Bookings are essential. If you'd like to book please call 0485 815 245.
